UX/UI Designer

As a key member of our team, you'll take on challenging situations as you work alongside a multi-talented and enthusiastic group of designers, developers, marketing and branding professionals.

Working remotely is an option, but the person in this role must be located in the United States.


Who You Are

You are a talented and driven designer, ready for hands-on projects from the ground up, from brainstorming creative concepts with the team to participating in client presentations and ensuring deadlines are met, all the way to launch. You're a strong, creative problem-solver who has a knack for making complex things simple - you’re guided by customer data and business needs and know how to work with others to drive ideas into reality.


What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with clients and the development team to create intuitive, user-friendly software.

  • Develop wireframes and task flows based on user needs. Understand product specifications and user psychology.

  • Create UX flows and high-resolution UI mockups based on the specifications provided by the client. Both for mobile applications and websites.

  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers.

  • Work closely with our development teams as part of an agile development process as product features move from product specs to production software.


What We'd Like to See

  • A strong background, with a min. of 3 years of UX and UI design experience.

  • Design skills using tools like Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, and familiarity with Adobe products are a plus (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).

  • A solid understanding of UX - Wireframes, User personas, User flow, User Journeys. You know a product needs more than just a pretty face.

  • Strong teamwork skills— the ability to work with Project Managers and Developers, experience working with development teams as well as the confidence and skill to communicate your ideas clearly

  • Direct client interaction experience with the ability to build relationships, understand client vision/direction, and present designs and concepts

  • Understanding of or experience in agile software development

  • Bonus but not a requirement: familiarity with propotyping tools such as Figma and Axure.
